A public hearing on a request to construct a roughly 124-foot telecommunications tower at 4456 Telegraph Road in Oakville will be conducted next week by the county Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, in the County Council Chambers at the Administration Building, 41 S. Central Ave., Clayton.
RF Alternatives LLC is requesting a conditional-use permit, or CUP, in the R-3 10,000-square-foot Residence District on the 8.99-acre site of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The site is on the east side of Telegraph Road, opposite Cathedral Drive and north of Crestline Drive.
The Planning Commission also will conduct hearings on three requests by Lemay Homes Inc.:
Lemay Homes is requesting a zoning change to the R-6A 4,500-square-foot Residence District from an R-5 6,000-square-foot Residence District for a 0.25-acre tract at 9624 Joplin Ave.
Lemay Homes is requesting a zoning change to the R-6A 4,500-square-foot Residence District from the C-2 Shopping District for a 0.41-acre tract at 9410 S. Broadway.
Lemay Homes is requesting a zoning change to the R-5 6,000-square-foot Residence District from the C-2 Shopping District for a 0.18-acre tract at 9518 S. Broadway.
Other public hearings include:
8900 Gravois LLC is requesting a CUP in the C-2 Shopping District for a 0.32-acre tract at 8900 Gravois Road. The company is proposing a vehicle repair facility.
Seventy-Seven Hundred Building LLC is requesting a CUP and an amended CUP in the R-5 6,000-square-foot residence district for 0.56-acre tract on the southwest side of Hannover Avenue, roughly 150 feet southeast of Gravois Road. A parking lot is proposed for the site.
