Walter and Yvonne Proehl celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 25.
A reception in the couple’s honor took place at Royale Orleans Nov. 20.
Mr. and Mrs. Proehl renewed their wedding vows on Thanksgiving Day at St. Matthias Catholic Church.
Mr. Proehl and the former Yvonne Strauss were married Nov. 25, 1954, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
They have three children: Mary Hoffmann, Terri Daughters and Joseph Proehl. The couple have seven grandchildren.
