To the editor:
I want to commend that brave trooper that possibly saved the lives of several people by placing his own life on the line. He was able to force a drunken driver off the road, thus preventing another tragedy like the one that occurred several hours earlier wherein three people were killed by a wrong way drunken driver.
I understand that the heroic trooper, who has only a little more than a year on the force, has also been involved in two incidents that involved shots being fired. And, he put his life on the line for the citizens of Missouri who he doesn’t know nor ever will. God bless our troopers, sheriff deputies and police officers.
