A familiar name is on the Crestwood Board of Aldermen’s meeting agenda Tuesday when it comes time to appoint someone to serve the remaining year of Ward 3 Alderman Scott Shipley’s term.
Shipley ran unopposed for Crestwood mayor in the April 4 election.
Former Mayor Grant Mabie, who declined to seek reelection in this year’s municipal election, citing family and work obligations, is on the April 25 agenda for consideration by the Board of Alderman to serve out the remaining year of Shipley’s term.
Before being elected as mayor in 2018, Mabie was the Ward 3 alderman from 2015 to 2018.
