The Lindbergh Flyers field hockey team faced off against the Eureka Wildcats Saturday, ultimately beating Eureka in a close game that went into overtime and shootouts.
The Flyers were 4-7 going into the matchup –Saturday’s win bumps them up to five wins, with five more games to go for the season. The Flyers field hockey team went 8-10-1 last season and head coach Andrew Shipp previously told The Call that one of the team’s goals for this season is to have an above .500 record.
