St. Louis County’s annual patriotic celebration, JB Blast, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 2, at Jefferson Barracks Park in south St. Louis County.

The free event features fireworks and a concert by the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid America’s Starlifter, with special guest Jennifer Batten, an internationally known lead guitarist who has performed on tour with Michael Jackson and Jeff Beck.

JB Blast is sponsored by County Executive Charlie Dooley, 6th District County Councilman Steve Stenger and the county police and parks departments.
