Hull Maintenance Technician 3rd Class Marshall Roy, of Fenton, takes the Navywide E-5 advancement Petty Officer Second Class exam aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay, as the ship sails in waters south of Japan. Green Bay, part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is on a routine patrol, operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance war-fighting readiness and posture forward as a ready-response force for any type of contingency, according to a news release.
