As the Nov. 5 ballot will be significantly longer than usual, election directors from St. Louis County and St. Louis City warn that voting may take longer, leading to large lines and slow wait times.
To avoid such conditions, voting early at satellite sites throughout the city and county has been encouraged.
From Oct. 22 through Nov. 4, Missouri voters may vote absentee in person without providing an excuse. Voters also do not need to apply for a ballot.
Absentee satellite sites will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Nov. 4, the day before election day, absentee satellite sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The three absentee satellite sites in South County include:
• The Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road
• The Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road
• The Oak Bend Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 842 S. Holmes Ave.
