As the Nov. 5 ballot will be longer than usual, election directors from St. Louis County and St. Louis City warn that voting may take longer, leading to slow wait times.
To avoid such conditions, voting early at satellite sites has been encouraged.
Now through Nov. 4, Missouri voters may vote absentee in person without providing an excuse.
Absentee satellite sites will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Nov. 4, the day before election day, absentee satellite sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
