The City of Crestwood is hosting a playground planning open house to gather feedback from residents about what they would like to see in the redesign for Crestwood Park’s playground.
The open house will be held Thursday, June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crestwood Park on Meadowfern Drive. City staff will be available to answer questions and take any ideas.
The recommendations from the open house will be submitted to playground companies for design. Those designs will be shared at the Aug. 20 park board meeting. Residents are invited to attend the park board meeting to review the designs and vote on their favorite.
The park redesign is funded by Crestwood’s Proposition A, a $33-million bond measure approved by voters in April that will be used to fund significant park improvements in the city.
