Two outgoing Crestwood Board of Aldermen members were honored last week with resolutions and plaques commemorating their service to the city. Above, Acting Mayor Richard Breeding, left, presents a plaque to Ward 3 Alderman Bernadine ‘Bernie’ Alexander at the April 27 board meeting. Alexander was appointed to the Ward 3 seat in April 2002 and elected to the post last year. She was defeated in her bid for re-election by Jerry Miguel, who was sworn in last week. In the photo to the right, Ward 2 Alderman Gary Vincent, left, accepts a plaque from Breeding. Vincent was elected to the Ward 2 seat in 1998 and re-elected in 2001. He did not seek a third term. Newly elected Ward 2 Alderman Jim Kelleher was sworn in last week.
