Crestwood will host a free community electronic recycling event Saturday, Aug. 24 at city hall 1 Detjen Drive, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Anything with a chord can be recylced. Fees may apply for televisions, CRT monitors and other similar materials. The event is free for all residents, including up to the first 150 to 200 televsions for any St. Louis County resident. Limit two per vehicle.

The event is for county residents only, no businesses.

The event is funded by a grant from Saint Louis County Department of Public Health, using county landfill surcharge funds. For more information on what is accepted and potential fees, visit www.mrcrecycling.net/recycling-fees.
