The county Planning Commission will conduct public hearings on two proposed developments in south county next week.
Public hearings on the proposals are set for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the County Council chambers in the Administration Building, 41 S. Central Ave., Clayton.
Tony Lee is requesting a Planned Environment Unit, or PEU, in an R-3 10,000-square-foot Residence District to build “Von Talge Commons,” a subdivision of attached single-family residences on 2.55 acres in the Mehlville School District on the east side of Von Talge Road, approximately 125 feet north of Von Talge Trails Court.
Kennelwood Pet Resort is requesting a conditional-use permit, or CUP, in existing C-3 commercial zoning across from the Concord Plaza shopping center for a pet-care facility that will include overnight boarding.
The business proposes a location on 0.98 acres on the east side of Baptist Church Road and west side of Concord Village Avenue, approximately 165 feet southwest of Arthur Lane. The property is in Lindbergh Schools.
