The St. Louis County Planning Commission is set to hear two South County-based zoning petitions at its public hearing on Dec. 11.
The commission meets Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the County Council chambers at the government center in Clayton, 41 S. Central Ave.
The first proposal is a zoning change request from Charlotte Jane Mason to change the zoning for a .21 acre tract from R-5 residential to R-6 residential at 8741-43 Mackenzie Road in Affton. The proposal is in the 5th County Council District and Affton School District.
The other South County-based proposal is a request from Truong Tran for a conditional use permit in a C-2 commercial district in order to operate a vehicle repair facility for cars on a .58 acre tract at 3501 Lemay Ferry Road. The proposal is in the 6th County Council District and Mehlville School District.
The commission will also hear two other proposals at its December public hearing: one is a zoning request for an advertising sign in the 3rd County Council District at Manchester and Barrett Station roads. The other request is for a CUP in a manufacturing district in order to operate a gymnasium and personal training studio. That proposal is in the 2nd County Council District, located at 10627 Midwest Industrial Blvd.
