County library summer reading club opens in June

St. Louis County Library’s Summer Reading Club starts June 1 and runs through Aug. 6.

The program is available for all ages. Participation is free and registration begins June 1. Visit for details.

Summer Reading Club participants can track their reading online, pick up a paper log from any branch or print one online. Readers can collect virtual badges for reading, attending library events and visiting participating area attractions like the Missouri Botanical Garden, the Saint Louis Art Museum and The Magic House.

Prizes will be awarded for each age group (early readers, kids, teens and adults) and will include books, sponsor coupons and more. Raffles for bonus prizes will be available for individuals who complete additional reading.

In person and virtual programs for all ages are planned.
