Carol and Jim Murphy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 30.
Mr. Murphy and the former Carol Popovsky were married Sept. 30, 1961, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Louis by the Rev. Krull.
He is retired from the state of Missouri, where he worked for 20 years.
Mrs. Murphy was self-employed and now is retired.
They are parents of a daughter, Karen Nagel, and a son, James William Murphy, both of St. Louis.
