Look for your local high school’s senior class photo or graduate names as we salute the Class of 2023’s achievements from eight local high schools in this week’s edition of the St. Louis Call and online at callnewspapers.com.
It is with great pleasure and pride we present the 34th annual Grad Salute, a community keepsake edition.
The newspaper celebrates students from Affton, Bayless, Fenton, Fox C-6, Hancock, Lindbergh, Mehlville and Oakville. The annual salute to our local high school graduates has never missed a year since its debut in 1990.
We appreciate the local schools participating in the annual salute and contributing their panoramic photos of senior classes through the years. The Call began filling in the panoramic photo spaces with names of the graduates for schools who were not able to have photos taken during the pandemic.
Since 2020, the annual salute has changed from the presentation of senior class photos to a mix of class photos and graduates’ names from local schools as we navigate our way back from the pandemic. Unfortunately, we discovered an incomplete file too late during final production and are unable to include Rockwood Summit’s graduates’ names in the May 25 print edition.
However, all photos and names submitted for each of the participating high schools will be posted online at www.callnewspapers.com too. As we congratulate the achievement of each graduate we wish them all a wonderful, successful life.
While the community’s students have earned a place in the Call’s annual Graduate Salute, the Call announces a “community call out” for readers. Nominate someone, young or old, who you feel deserves a call out, or recognition for accomplishments and services in our community. We will have community call outs all year long!
Readers can submit nominations to: nominate@callnewspapers.com or mail your nomination to Call Newspapers, 9977 Lin Ferry Drive, St. Louis, MO 63123. Be sure to include your contact name and phone.
We salute our readers who value local news and those who contribute to the success of our community.
Enjoy and catch up on all the local news in this week’s edition of The Call, including winners of the annual Pet Photo Contest.
