For the Crestwood Board of Aldermen, The Call endorses Megan Gadallah.
With three young children growing up in Crestwood, Gadallah would bring a unique perspective to the board. Her enthusiasm for this role is evident and she has outlined many positive ideas for the future of the city in her questionnaire.
For the Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen, The Call endorses Marie Davis.
Davis is a valued alderman and an active member of the community, founding the Art Committee and participating in almost every event the city offers.
Her opponent, Sheila Vita, did not return The Call’s questionnaire, making her ineligible for endorsement.
For the Lindbergh Board of Education, The Call endorses Jennifer Miller and Julia Voss.
Miller and Voss both have a passion for the district and public education as a whole. They are also both personally involved with Lindbergh Schools as they have children enrolled in the district. Miller’s proven leadership as former president and current vice president of the board, along with the various committees and boards she sits on, shows her commitment to Lindbergh. Voss’s background in law has and will continue to help her make fair decisions.
Martin VerPlank did not return The Call’s questionnaire, making him ineligible for endorsement.
For the Mehlville Board of Education, The Call endorses Serene Wilkinson and Ann Zimpfer.
Wilkinson is the only candidate living in the underrepresented 63125 area of the district, giving her a rare perspective. She thoroughly completed The Call’s candidate questionnaire with her plans for the district, her attention to detail on a variety of topics standing out. As a former Mehlville School District teacher, Zimpfer is a great fit for the board as she knows the ins and outs of the district.
For the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors, The Call endorses Ed Ryan.
During Ryan’s time on the MFPD Board of Directors, the district has changed quite a bit. From the passage of Missouri’s first-ever-tax-rate rollback, to the construction of new fire stations and a state-of-the-art training center, to the addition of Missouri’s first Safe Haven Baby Box at MFPD Fire House 2, Ryan’s track record speaks for itself.
