Kirstin Therese Bopp and Steven James Gentemann were married May 21 at the Larimore Plantation House by the Rev. Jay Kilb.
The bride is the daughter of Klaus and Eileen Bopp of Clarksburg.
The groom is the son of Ginny and the late Clarence Gentemann of Crest-wood.
The maid of honor was Jenica Hop-kins of Quincy, Ill. Bridesmaids were Maria Hegarty and Karin Hull.
The best man was Ted Dolter of Mehl-ville. Groomsmen were Alan Fried-man and Tim Hunkins.
Flower girls were Isabel Dolter and Ameilia Hopkins. Ushers were Chris-topher Bopp, Zach Gentemann, Kevin Rushing and Patrick Rushing.
A reception took place at the Lari-more Plantation House.
After a honeymoon trip to the islands of Hawaii, Maui and Kauai, the couple moved to Fenton.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Quincy University and master’s degree in chemistry from Washington University. She is em-ployed by Anheuser-Busch Inc. of St. Louis as a chemist.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in chemistry from St. Louis University, and and a doctorate degree in chemistry from Washing-ton University. He is employed by Southwestern Illinois College of Belleville, Ill., as a professor of chemistry.
