Crestwood aldermen voted last week to appoint three people to two of the city’s advisory boards.

The board voted unanimously to appoint Colin Meadows and Greg Hall, both of Ward 3, to serve on the Economic Development Commission.

The EDC is required by ordinance to meet at least quarterly, but City Administrator Jim Eckrich has stated the two vacancies on the advisory board have made it difficult for the group to obtain a quorum.

Aldermen also voted unanimously last week to appoint Elizabeth Crowley of Ward 2 to the Public Works Board.

Board members took no action on filling a fourth advisory board vacancy — the appointment of Jeannine Navratil of Ward 1 to the Board of Adjustment as an alternate member — after Ward 4 Alderman John Foote noted Navratil indicated on her application that her service on the board would present a conflict of interest.
