“Ali’s Army” was out in full force today — May 17 — at Mehlville Senior High School. Sixteen-year-old Ali Hayes was diagnosed with leukemia a few weeks ago. Ever since the diagnosis and resulting chemotherapy treatments, Mehlville students have been hosting all kinds of fundraisers to help Ali’s family with medical expenses, including a T-shirt sale.
