After-school meals will be available at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library for the upcoming school year beginning Aug. 19, in partnership with Operation Food Search.
Meals will be served at the Weber Road Branch from 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals are provided free of charge for children 5-18 and must be eaten on-site.
Other participating branches are:
• Lewis & Clark Branch, 9909 Lewis-Clark Blvd., 63136. Meals are served Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
• Natural Bridge Branch, 7606 Natural Bridge Road, 63121. Meals are served Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
• Prairie Commons Branch, 915 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, 63042. Meals are served Monday through Friday from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Free, fresh produce boxes are also still being given out every Thursday through the end of the month at Weber Road Branch and other locations, starting at 8:30 a.m. Boxes are distributed curbside in branch parking lots. There is a limit of one box per vehicle, and supplies are limited. Other participating St. Louis County Library locations are the Florissant Valley Branch, 3400 Pershall Road, 63135, and the Lewis & Clark Branch.
