Sara Mosavi and her memoir, “Traveling with the wind.”

Sara Mosavi, a 17-year-old immigrant from Kabul, Afghanistan, and a 2024 graduate of Affton High School, is set to publish her memoir “Traveling With the Wind.”

The book, written while she was in school at Affton, details her experiences as an immigrant teenager. Mosavi is raising funds with the help of her mentor to self-publish the book before starting college at Saint Louis University in the fall.
