A 57-year-old Affton man was struck and killed by a car at roughly 9:30 p.m. Friday on Tesson Ferry Road, just south of Gravois Road.

County police said Kenneth Dorn of the 9900 block of Chateau Roi was crossing the street when he was struck by car traveling southbound on Tesson Ferry. The two-door Toyota was driven by a male.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The county Police Crimes Against Persons Unit, accident reconstruction and the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and are conducting their investigations, according to a news release. It is unclear at this point in the investigation if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors, the release stated.
