The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Rotary Club recently honored Lindbergh High School junior Isabella Feltenstein as its Student of the Month.
LHS staff and students identify Isabella as a wonderful asset to the Lindbergh community. She is compassionate and dedicated to improving climate and culture for all, according to Mareen Reed, Character Education team leader at LHS.
Isabella recently helped spearhead the You Matter Mission, creating videos and plans for PAC student advisory groups, with a goal of creating a community where every student feels respected and valued by his or her peers.
In addition, Isabella and the LHS Character Lab team wrote a successful grant to the Lindbergh Foundation, which will fund a dance for special needs students.
She is a member of National Honor Society, soccer, cross country and the Random Acts of Kindness Tribe.
Isabella looks forward to studying chemical engineering in college, with a goal of addressing global warming.
