Susan Blakey, daughter of John and Janice Blakey of St. Louis, and Carlos Urrutia, son of Carlos Urrutia Ramirez and Vicky Ubeda Blandon of Managua, Nicaragua, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Blakey of Orlando, Fla., is a 1999 graduate of Oakville Senior High School. She earned bachelor’s degrees in strategic communications and Spanish from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master of business administration degree from the University of Alcala in Alcala De Henares, near Madrid, Spain.
Her fiancé, Urrutia, earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Popular University of Nicaragua, Managua, Nicaragua, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Alcala in Alcala De Henares, near Madrid, Spain.
The couple plan a Sept. 27 wedding at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park in St. Louis.
