William E. Skelton Jr., 91, died April 21 at Bethesda Southgate.

Born in Alabama, Mr. Skelton resided in Oakville. He was a stationary engineer.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Carolyn Skelton III; daughter, Jeannette S. Carr; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Lafon A. and Robert Hart; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Skelton was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Skelton.

Services and visitation were at Hoffmeister South County Chapel. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
