Walter James Petri, 98, died Feb. 1.

Born in St. Louis, Mr. Petri was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 65 years.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Henry Blumenkemper; sons-in-law, Robert (Carol) Becker and Joseph (Carmen) Viviano; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Mr. Petri was preceded in death by his first wife, Veronica Petri (nee Brodzik); second wife, Rose Petri (nee Balek); daughters, Carole Becker and Patricia Viviano; and brothers, Rudolph Petri, August Petri and Elmer Petri; and sister, Bertha Margedant.

Services were at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel and Nazareth Living Center. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
