To the editor:
With election time quickly approaching, it’s important for voters to take a close look at the candidates running for office, at all levels of government, that they are of good moral standards and, that they are running for the good of the community and not for their own personal gain.
The candidates need to be able to vote on all issues that come before them.
They should not abstain their vote on an issue because of personal interest or because of employment, which may cause a conflict of interest in the future and keep them from doing their job as an elected official of the community.
