The St. Louis Rams honored the Mehlville Senior High School Panthers football team Saturday as its Missouri High School Team of the Year.
Mehlville represented Missouri, while Gillespie High School was chosen at the Illinois High School Team of the Year, according to a district news release. The selections were based on competitive improvement and community service by teams in both states.
