Melissa Lynn Venverloh, daughter of Chris and Kathy Venverloh of Oakville, and Michael Noah Murphy, son of Pete and Debbie Murphy of Fairview Heights, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Venverloh, of Oakville, is a 2000 graduate of Oakville Senior High School and a 2004 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University. She received her master’s degree in 2006 from Webster University. She is a fifth-grade teacher in the Webster Groves School District.
Her fiancé, Murphy, is a 1999 graduate of Belleville East High School and a 2003 graduate of Ranken Technical College. He is a painter with Jet Aviation in Cahokia.
The couple plan a June wedding at Canaan Baptist Church in Oakville.
