Norm Valenta and Jean Huston

Norm Valenta, 80, and Jean Huston, 82, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. They were both born and raised in St. Louis.  Valenta and Huston currently reside at Ascension Living Sherbrooke Village, where they are both residents in the assisted-living facility.

They met at Sherbrooke Village and became great friends that blossomed into much more.

Valenta is a retired plumber and an avid Cardinals fan.  Jean is a retired dog groomer and enjoys playing cards. They both love to go to the casino and to the movie theatre.

A June 9 wedding is planned at St. Matthias the Apostle Church in St. Louis, with a reception to follow at Sherbrooke Village.
