Canaan Baptist Church, 5409 Baumgartner Road, will offer Vacation Bible School later this month.

“The Arctic Edge” will be offered for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and will feature a visit from FredBird. Sixth- and seventh-graders will participate in their own adventure, “Over the Edge.”

Canaan Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School will be offered from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, through Friday, June 30, with daily excursions from Big Bear Lodge where children will explore the tundra, seascape and back country of the Arctic.

Christian illusionist Tim Hannig will end the week with a special performance.
