U.S. House passes three bills to honor fallen Missouri soldiers

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday unanimously passed three bills introduced by U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Ballwin, that would name three post offices in Missouri’s 2nd District after local fallen soldiers.

House of Representatives, or H.R., 322, 323 and 324 would name U.S. post office locations in Chesterfield, Affton and Sappington after Army Sgt. Zachary Fisher, Sgt. Amanda Pinson and Lt. Daniel Riordan, respectively.

H.R. 322 would designate the U.S. Postal Service facility at 16105 Swingley Ridge Road in Chesterfield as the “Sgt. Zachary M. Fisher Post Office.”

H.R. 323 would designate the U.S. Postal Service facility at 55 Grasso Plaza in Affton as the “Sgt. Amanda N. Pinson Post Office.”

H.R. 324 would designate the U.S. Postal Service facility at 11662 Gravois Road in Sappington as the “Lt. Daniel P. Riordan Post Office.”

The bills now go to the Senate for consideration, where they are sponsored by U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo.
