Claude and Gwynn Turner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 19 during a reception at South County Baptist Church.
Claude Carroll Turner and the former Marjorie Gwynn Watridge were married Feb. 19, 1956, at the Holly Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Aubrey Neal.
Mr. Turner is retired from the federal government where he worked for 42 years.
Mrs. Turner is retired from Lindbergh School District where she was employed for 22 years.
They are the parents of Keith (Judy) Turner of St. Louis and Mark (Cyndee) Turner of Tulsa, Okla.
The couple have four grandchildren — Amy, Dan, Jennah and Joshua.
