Cynthia Khan, a senior biology and psychology major at Truman State University, will be featured in the 2003-2004 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Khan was selected on the basis of several criteria.

A university nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose 61 Truman students based upon academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and future potential, a news release stated.

Who’s Who students were selected from more than 1,400 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.

Khan has been active in several campus organizations and activities at Truman, including Beta Beta Beta, the Muslim Students Association and Psi Chi. She also has been named to the dean’s list.

She is the daughter of Abdul and Nasreen Khan of Oakville.
