Truman Elementary School’s fifth-grade classes will sponsor their annual garage sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the cafeteria, 12225 Eddie & Park Road.
Teacher Elaine McArthur reports that fifth-grade pupils are “teaming up with our second-grade caring school buddies to raise money for the Sarcoma Foundation.”
Pupils also will sell Sarcoma bracelets, visit with a pediatric oncologist and do a special service project for the Foundation for Children with Cancer.
Garage-sale proceeds will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation. Donations for the garage sale will be accepted in the Truman office from March 31 through April 5.
