Trueblood graduates from Geneva College

Katherine E. Trueblood of Crestwood, a graduate of Lutheran High School South, recently graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor of science degree in biology.

Trueblood was among 285 graduates awarded diplomas at the college’s 157th commencement ceremony.

Serving as this year’s commencement speaker was Walt Mueller, Geneva alumnus and the founder and president of the Center for Parent-Youth Understanding. The author of five books, Mueller is a sought-after authority on youth culture and family issues.

Mueller earned his bachelor’s of arts in sociology from Geneva College in 1978, his master of divinity from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1986, and his doctorate in ministry to postmodern generations from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2005.

Mueller also received an honorary doctorate from Geneva College in 2000.
