Trinity United Church of Christ will begin its 120th anniversary celebration Sunday, Sept. 29, with an outdoor service and participatory concert at Mathilda-Welmering Park, 8301 Mathilda, Affton.

The band Sheltered Reality will perform to help the church to kick off another century of worship. A worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Trinity United Church of Christ previously was at the intersection of Grand and Itaska in South St. Louis, where it enjoyed a large congregation and a school with children from kindergarten through eighth grade.

The church now is at 5200 Hilda, one block off of Heege at the intersection of Oak in Affton.
