Sarah Evonne Schilling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schilling of Altenburg, and Michael Ralph Ruhland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ruhland of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Schilling is a 1996 graduate of Perryville High School and received her bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001. She is employed by Anheuser-Busch Inc. as a brewing process controls engineer.
Her fiance, Ruhland, is a 1996 graduate of Oakville Senior High School and received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Webster University in 2000. He is completing a master’s degree in communications from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is employed as a producer at KMOX Radio.
The couple plan an Aug. 20 wedding at historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Soulard.
