Tressie Z. Carden (nee Cochran), 85, died June 14 at St. Anthonys Medical Center.
Born in Hackleburg, Ala., Mrs. Carden resided in Oakville. She was a leather goods factory worker.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Carden and Dennis and Vicki Carden; and daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dean Wilson. She was nanny to 29. Mrs. Carden was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Carden, and daughter, Virginia Becker.
Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel and Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Services were at the church. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
