The Magic House is celebrating the first day of summer with the TV network Nickelodeon Thursday.
Families are invited to attend a summer celebration from noon to 3 p.m. at Nipher Middle School, which is next to The Magic House at 700 S. Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood. The event will Nickelodeon-themed games and activities including an inflatable obstacle course, bowling, a slime booth, appearances by SpongeBob and Patrick costumed characters and more.
This special event is part of Nickelodeon’s summer-long play campaign, an extension of the network’s Worldwide Day of Play initiative which celebrates children’s love of play and encourages them to go outside and get active.
