Sappington Elementary School physical education teacher Mary Driemeyer recently participated in FitnessGram10 Immersion Training and the GENYouth 2014 Nutrition and Physical Activity Learning Connection Summit and Expo.

Driemeyer was one of 25 NFL Play 60 Project Champions from around the country to attend the summit in Dallas, according to a district news release. She and the other champions learned about student fitness, met like-minded physical educators, and received cutting edge information to use at their schools.

Driemeyer is Lindbergh Schools’ 2014-15 Teacher of the Year.
