The Alabama Avenue Bridge, at the intersection of River City Boulevard and Lemay Ferry Road, is inaccessible as floodwater from the River des Peres continue to rise Thursday, May 30. 8,000 feet of sandbag were put in place along the River des Peres to mitigate flooding of nearby homes in South County and south St. Louis city.
