The Lindbergh Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band will perform at the ‘biggest little annual Memorial Day celebration in south county’ next week (see article below). Boy Scout Troop 646 of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and entertainment will include ‘Taps’ by the Moolah Drum Corps, a vocal performance by Lindbergh High School senior Rachel Nieters and selections from a portion of the LHS Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band, directed by David Wyss, that will vary from ‘fun and entertaining to solemn and patriotic,’ Sappington-Concord Historical Society President Stephen Hanpeter said. He added, ‘The Memorial Day ceremony is the biggest yearly outreach to the community.’
