Oakville baseball tops Festus in home game

Lindbergh tops Oakville in baseball

Photo by Jessica Belle Kramer. The Lindbergh Flyers and Oakville Tigers went head-to-head in a matchup at Lindbergh last week, with the Flyers coming out on top 4-3. Oakville, with an overall record of 5-12-2, went on to win two more games later in the week. The Flyers are 8-5 on the season.

Byline: Despite winning a school record 26 games this season, the Oakville Senior High School baseball team’s dream of a state championship came to a painful end last week when the Tigers dropped a 2-1 decision to De Soto in the Class 4 state quarterfinal.
