The city of Sunset Hills recently hired Cochran Engineering to submit a grant application to improve Old Gravois Road from Kennerly Road to the Meramec River Bridge.
Proposed improvements include asphalt resurfacing, pavement widening for safety shoulders, improved street lighting and storm drainage improvements.
Grant applications are due to the EastWest Gateway Council of Governments by Jan. 17.
Results of the application submittal should be made available by May.
