Northstar Management Co. of Sunset Hills announces that Senior Project Managers Kevin Studer, Chris Viviano and Mike Viviano have been selected as new partners.
Over the next three to five years, they will transition into the next generation of leadership for the company, according to a news release.
“Northstar leadership is excited to announce this next generation of company leaders,” company owner Ken Cates stated in the release. “We are confident that they have the skills and professionalism to guide Northstar in the future.”
Studer, a Sunset Hills resident. earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis on structure, from the University of MissouriColumbia and a master’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in finance, from St. Louis University.
He holds his professional engineering licensure and a health care construction certification from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. He has been with Northstar since 2006 and has more than 10 years of owner-representative experience and 15 years of total industry experience. He has worked on more than 80 projects with a cumulative value exceeding $500 million.
Chris Viviano earned a bachelor’s degree in construction from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill, and is a certified health care constructor. He has been with Northstar since 2001 and has more than 15 years of owner-representative experience and 20 years of total industry experience. He has worked on more than 100 projects with a cumulative value exceeding $1 billion.
Mike Viviano earned a bachelor’s degree in construction from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill., and is a certified health care constructor. He has been with Northstar since 1999 and has more than 13 years of owner-representative experience and 14 years of total industry experience. He has worked on more than 150 projects with a cumulative value exceeding $400 million.
Northstar Management Co., founded in 1998 by Ken Kadel and Cates, is an independent owner’s representative/program management firm whose sole focus is guiding clients through successful facility projects, the release stated.
