The G.O. for Sunset Hills sustainability committee is accepting donations of certain items for Joplin tornado relief.
Volunteer group Service International has informed Ward 1 Alderman Dee Baebler that it needs water, Gatorade, granola bars and tarps for tornado survivors and relief workers, according to Mayor Bill Nolan.
Only those items are being accepted in this collection drive, Nolan said. A donated truck will deliver them to Joplin.
Donations should be taken to City Hall, 3939 S. Lindbergh Blvd. by Tuesday, May 31.
