St. Margaret Mary Alacoque students recently celebrated the 800th birthday of St. Louis’ patron, St. Louis IX, King of France, with a special liturgy, followed by a birthday treat of ice-cream sandwiches. St. Margaret Mary Alacoque’s pastor is the Rev. Msgr. Norb Ernst and the school principal is Marianne Freiling. The school’s director of religious education, Paul Cooper, coordinated the birthday celebration.
